‘Alalā reference genome is publicly available
Our ‘Alalā genome paper has been published in Genes. It was a privilege to work with wonderful collaborators to develop a resource that will help conserve Hawaii's last remaining crow species. We are currently relying on this high-quality reference genome assembly to help us understand more about genetic diversity in this species, and to develop tools that will help inform strategic pairings as part of the conservation-breeding program. This genome assembly is publicly available. Check out the paper for more details!
